“At home I am a nice guy: but I don’t want the world to know. Humble people, I’ve found, don’t get very far.” ~ Muhammad Ali
Kelvin’s Elucidation:
Being “humble” in your email-promotions is a sure-fire-way to go broke.
The only “sale” you’ll make being humble is selling your subscribers on the idea that your product or service is not for them.
If you want sales, you must first get your subscriber’s attention, then you must persuade them.
How?
By bragging about your product or service.
You must boast, gloat and crow!
Huh?
You don’t like to “brag”, you say?
Well, let me reply to that, with another Ali quote:
“It ain’t braggin’ if you can back it up”.
Let me ask you this?
Does your product or service back up your claims?
You say it does?
Then wherefore do thou act like such a pussy?
Look…
…if you wanna make more sales with your email-marketing, then memorize this:
To Get Your Subscribers Vote, You Gotta Showboat and Gloat!
(That was such a good little rhyme I bet you thought that was Ali’s, eh?)
Whatever.
Ding, ding!
Hey, looks like this round goes to yours truly –
