Dear subscriber,
I’m not ashamed to say it…
… I love women with big…
… frontal lobes.
You know, women who are highly intelligent.
Yup, when it comes to the female anatomy, I find a good working brain just as sexy as a woman’s curves.
Speaking of beauty with brains, I’m a big fan of Jodie Foster.
This girl’s smart as hell (she has an IQ score of 136 and is a high school valedictorian) Not only is she a 10 in the smarts department, she’s also a class act. Get this: Jodie Foster started her acting career at age three! Yet she has kept her nose sparkling clean. For most child stars, Hollywood is a one-way ticket to heartbreak city where they trade their milk and cookies for rehab and court appearances, all while the world watches like it’s a twisted reality show.
Not so with Foster. This laydee’s all class and no crass.
Well anyway, here’s a little-known fact about Jodie Foster.
When she was a young child, she was mauled by a lion. No joke. The lion picked her up in its mouth and walk some distance before Foster was able to escape its clutches. This happened on set while filming a Disney movie.
Huh? Why am I going on about Jodie Foster?
Patience, my friend.
I’m heading somewhere with this, okay?
Now, I recently read a behind-the-scenes account of Jodie Foster working with Anthony Hopkins during the filming of Silence of The Lambs.
Here’s the story:
During their characters’ first meeting, there’s a moment where Lecter mocks Starling’s southern accent. Jodie’s charter, Clarice Starling, looks bitterly offended and tries to hide it from Lecter. Great acting, right? Actually, it wasn’t acting at all. That offended look on her face is real as it gets. You see, Lecter mocking Starling’s accent was totally improvised on the spot by Hopkins, and not expected by Foster. She was truly hurt by the comment.
Immediately after filming that scene, Foster marched up to an unsuspecting Hopkins and kicked him right in the nuts. Okay, so added that last part for dramatic purposes. A refined woman would do no such thing.
What she did do was this: she thanked Hopkins for provoking a genuine reaction.
Now, here, good sirs and fair maidens, is where you should perk up and pay extra attention. Why? Because this next part can impact your finances, specifically your online sales.
Listen: in the June issue (Yes, I’m a little behind schedule regarding its promotion), I talk about a particular scene (in great detail) from the movie The Silence of The Lambs. Not because I like the scene, or because it has great acting. Who cares? No. I talk about this certain scene because…
… It Has a Hidden Sales Secret EVERY
Online Business Should Use!
I doubt less than 1 in 1,000 salespeople would ever spot this sales secret even if they watched this particular scene over and over.
It’s very subtle but very powerful.
It’s something I do in every single promotional email I write.
Wait. I may have overstated that.
Nope!
I’ve done it in this email, too.
Yup, pretty sure I do it in every email, Freckles.
What can I say? At this point, I do it subconsciously. And once you get hip to this sales secret and see its effectiveness, you’ll wanna get to that point, too!
But, as always, this is for inner circle members’ eyes only.
