Think of a Number

Dear subscriber,

I got a cool trick for ya.

But you gotta be mentally switched on, okay?

Hmm, that eliminates half my audience right there! Look, just do your best, Freckles.

Here it is:

Think of a number. Any number. (But don’t forget it, okay?Perhaps some of you should write that number down.)

Got one?

Good.

Now double it.

Then add six.

Now divide it in half.

And finally…  subtract the original number.

You got 3, right?

Neat trick, eh?

I know, I know, some of you are saying, “Kelvin, I didn’t get 3, so what’s up?”

What’s up?

Obviously not your IQ!

That trick was a simple math equation. Try it again with a calculator if you need to.

Hey, while the numerically inept get out their calculators to try and prove me wrong (hah hahha!!), let’s move onto a trick that can help put more spondooli into your bank accounts, huh?

OK.

Now, to be honest, this so-called “trick” is much like the above trick. Meaning, it’s not really a trick. That’s just Papa Maverick tossing around some copywriting jargon. No, this trick is actually a strategy. A battle-hardened strategy, a proven method for crafting sales pitches that hit your market right in the gut – where it counts.

Inside the April issue, I show you how it’s done, and, it’s quick and caveman-simple to do.

In fact, it took me all of 3 seconds!

Full disclosure: I got lucky on this one. Sometimes it can take as long as half an hour or even an hour or two. But it’s worth every second.

What else is in the April issue?

Great question!

Here’s a quick look inside this issue:

*A sneak peek inside Papa Maverick’s secret bullet-writing swipe file. – page 7

*The “3-second market” research trick for coming up with highly persuasive sales pitches that hit your market where they live.

*What “The Triad of Time” is, and how to use it in your marketing and sales messages to maximize your sales. (You won’t find this in any copywriting or sales course no matter how hard you look.)

*The little-talked-about psychology behind why Ronald Reagan’s famous “Are you better off than you were four years ago” line was so effective. (And, how to use this clever psychology in your sales and marketing messages to elevate engagement, foster trust, and ultimately drive conversions. – page 9)

*A top-notch sales secret from the hit TV show Mad Men. This scene from Mad Men reveals a powerful (yet very overlooked) element to include in your sales messages so that your prospects develop a strong bond with your brand/products. – page 14

*An eye-opening look at Trump’s MAGA campaign in 2016. This political slogan worked wonders for Trump because it has embedded psychology that triggered a certain emotion in people, no matter what side of the political aisle they were on. (Turn to page 16 to discover how you can leverage this strategy to help sell your products and services.)

*A clever way to “dress up” information so that (1) it’s taken more seriously (2) is more engaging, and (3) it oozes with credibility and significance. – page 16
